SERVICE-DISABLED VETERAN-OWNED  •  SERVING WILSON & EASTERN NORTH CAROLINA

About Veterans Station

Built by veterans. Run for veterans. Rooted in service.

Our Story

Why Veterans Station Exists

Veterans Station was founded on a simple belief: no one who served this country should come home to face homelessness alone. What started as a response to a local need in Wilson, North Carolina has grown into a dedicated housing community for veterans navigating transition, recovery, and the search for stable ground.

As a service-disabled veteran-owned organization, we don't just serve veterans — we understand them, because many of us have walked the same path.

What We Believe

Our Mission & Values

Dignity First

Every veteran is treated with the respect their service earned — no judgment, no red tape, no shame.

Community Over Isolation

Housing alone doesn't heal. We build shared spaces where veterans support one another the way they did in service.

A Bridge, Not a Bottleneck

We connect residents to the VA, healthcare, and job resources rather than letting them get lost in the system.
